About Us

Voted IT Company of the Year in 2015, Lake Tahoe Online provides IT, marketing, and technology solutions that move the people and businesses of the Tahoe - Truckee area forward.

Our mission is to offer good old fashioned customer support with leading edge services and technology. If you have a problem, we’ll find a solution.

Who Says You Can't Have it All?

We know that you are like us in making our small businesses work, while living the lifestyle we've dreamed of in the remote and natural beauty of North Lake Tahoe. The majestic lifestyle we experience here has come at a cost of access to high-speed internet and other technologies that city folk often take for granted. But not anymore. We at Lake Tahoe Online are optimistic, future-focused, and open to risk and change so long as we can keep living the dream here in Tahoe.

Old Fashioned Customer Service

Our devotion to service is what makes us do things that might seem old fashioned, like making house calls, even in a snowstorm. We understand how frustrating it is to have problems with the Internet and we are here to get it all sorted out, while sharing a visit, a laugh, and helping you understand cyberspace in a language that does not make your eyes glaze over.

Our business, like our town, is growing. As new owners of Lake Tahoe Online, we are motivated to move the Tahoe - Truckee area forward with new services and solutions.

FAQs

Q: What is Free Tech Support Day?
A: Remember when you were in college and your professors held office hours so you could get extra help? Well, we don't pretend to be professors, but it's a lot like that. Drop by the office, tell us your problem and we'll do our best to help you solve it or point you in the right direction.

Q: How much tech support time can I get?
A: We can offer you up to 15-30 minutes for support, depending on demand. We don't want too many people waiting around.

Q: I understand you can only give me 15-30 minutes of your time. What if I need more help than that?
A: We'll try to solve your problem or get you on the right track, but if you need more help, we can schedule a follow-up appointment for a later date. For Tech Support Day attendees, we'll be offering discounts on our usual hourly rate.

Q: Can I make an appoinment instead?
A: Tech support on this day is first-come, first-serve. You can always schedule a follow-up appointment with us for a later date if you need more help. For Tech Support Day attendees, we'll be offering discounts on our usual hourly rate.

Q: What should I bring?
A: Just bring yourself, whichever computer or device you need help with, and maybe a notepad if you like to write things down. If your questions or issues are related to an email account or other user accounts that require a password, please make sure you have that password handy.
