Dialup & ISDN Accounts
Dial-up accounts offer simple modem access to the internet
via phone lines. ISDN lines connect like dial-up accounts but use
special ISDN lines provided by the phone company. Lake
Tahoe On Line is committed to providing superior dial-up and ISDN service --
without busy signals, dropped calls or pop-up ads. Support is
provided 7 days a week by live technicians, not voicemail trees.
Dial on demand (the ISDN modem connects when you need it) ISDN is appropriate
for residential use or occasional use. Continuous ISDN (the ISDN modem is always connected) is appropriate for
business connections or heavy internet users. Dual channel ISDN provides speeds of 128K up and down.
All ISDN options can be shared among multiple computers. Quoted features do not include
hardware nor installation from point of entry or modem configuration. However, modem sales and installation
service can also be provided.
